Continent-spanning concerts celebrate the seven-volume The Art Of Perelman-Shipp, a high-water mark for the duo format and for free improvisation.

Following their November 2015 European Tour and several subsequent Bay Area events and rehearsals, the four gentleman are back out on the road this month to what one could call a "Rova Fest," starting on Sun, Jan 17 with Electric Ascension featuring Nels Cline at Le Poisson Rouge — presented by NYC' Winter Jazzfest, and concluding a week later, on Sun, Jan 24, with the quartet performing some seminal and transitional works at The Stone.

Rova's tour kicks off November 8th at Sound In Motion, in Antwerp, Belgium, with a unique concert of the Rova Special Sextet: Rova Plus Belgian percussionists Jakob Warmenbol and Eric Heestermans. Below is a full list of upcoming shows!

We are delighted to welcome Rova to the Kato Bookbird family with two fantastic projects: The Rova Saxophone Quartet and the Electric Ascension! We met Rova member Larry Ochs at the Konfrontationen Festival last year and we think he's pretty awesome and couldn’t be more excited to present and share the projects with the rest of the world!
